Havanese are affectionate, cheerful and people-focused. They love being near their family and will happily follow you from room to room. They’re also smart and eager to please, which makes training enjoyable.
Good to know: Because they bond so closely, Havanese don’t like being left alone for long hours. If your home is empty most of the day, this may not be the breed for you.

Havanese typically stand 8.5 to 11.5 inches tall and weigh 7 to 13 pounds. That’s small enough for apartments and easy to travel with, yet sturdy enough to play with kids and enjoy daily walks.
